DOST-CAR is online!
The Department of Science and Technology- Cordillera Administrative Region (DOST-CAR) recognizes the need to strengthen its presence online as it also adjusts to meet the needs of its stakeholders in this new normal. The role of the internet as the main source of information for Filipinos cannot be denied since it has paved the way for easy delivery of services to stakeholders.
For our part, we are strengthening our website as well as our social media pages for us to be more responsive to the needs of the current times. Through these, everyone will have access to what your public servants at the DOST-CAR are doing to ensure that science, technology and innovation are brought to the people of the Cordillera region. We are likewise guided with the DOST’s national theme, “Science For The People”.
Despite the challenge of this Covid-19 pandemic, the DOST-CAR remains passionate in bringing DOST programs, projects and activities to the region. Our banner program, the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) continues to provide innovation system support, technical trainings and consultancies, laboratory testing and calibration, towards upgrading the processes and productivity of MSMEs. The DOST-CAR is also passionate in its commitment to empower communities through the Community-based Projects, especially during these trying times. Through the CBPs, we support sustainable and innovative community livelihood projects through S&T interventions.
Visit our website and Facebook accounts to keep abreast of the full menu of science and technology interventions that we provide to the Cordillera region. We are relentless in doing our part for us to #HealAsOne and #RecoverAsOne.
Matago-tago tako am-in!
